Upsdales has been a permanent fixture in Romford Road since it was established by Andrew Upsdale in 1900 as a surveying and estate agency practice just a few doors along from our current address. Over the last 110 years the firm has continued to adapt and evolve and in July 2008 the partnership incorporated as a limited company with the two partners at the time becoming the directors of the newly formed company, Upsdales Ltd.

Joined Upsdales in 2001 from Colleys having previously worked for the Leeds & Holbeck and Chelsea Building Societies, Randalls (Romford & Ilford), London Borough of Havering Land & Property Services and the Valuation Office (Havering).

Qualified as a Member of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 2004. Joined Upsdales in 2010 from Vail Williams (West End) having previously worked for Smith Melzack Pepper Angliss (West End) and Countrywide Surveyors (Brentwood).

- Ken Lomas FRICS - Associate Director
- Qualified as an Associate of The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors in 1975. Elected as a Fellow of the RICS in 1986. Ken is now semi retired but continues to work with us on a consultancy basis.
